CSV/ ROC A12
Description of assignment
On the basis of a tendering route, Matrix Bouw received the assignment to build a new school building for CSV/ ROC A12. Matrix Bouw asked Hollander techniek to produce an integral design for this building and to then realize the design.
Under the assignment of Matrix Bouw, Hollander techniek designed and realized the installations for this multifunctional building. The integral design of the electrical and mechanical installations has resulted in even more cost savings.
Within this project, the concept of a ‘Living building’ and the principle of ‘Frisse scholen’ (demand-controlled ventilation for schools) were applied. For the new build of the CSV/ROC A12, the Living building concept was applied for the first time. This is a concept within which all the parties work closely together in order to reach a solution for the party providing the assignment. The method ensures that a flexible building is literally created, for example, by adding a room to or removing a room from a building. Unique for the Netherlands is the hot and cold water extraction from drinking water [warmte- en koudeonttrekking aan het drinkwater (WKD)] at the nearby Vitens water extraction location.
